Kathryn Sawyer

Kathryn Rose Sawyer is a first-year PhD student in the Department of History at Notre Dame, and she is honored to have been chosen as a Mellon Fellow in Religion. Her research interests include post-Reformation theology and the British Atlantic in the early modern period. Non-research interests include judo, music, and dance. She holds degrees from McGill University and Concordia University in Montreal, and a certificate in Reformation history from the University of Geneva. Kathryn hails originally from Lowell, Massachusetts.
