Lauren Whitnah
Lauren Whitnah, a recipient of a Mellon summer stipend, is a Ph.D. candidate in Medieval Studies. Her research interests include: Medieval religious history, saints’ cults, and Anglo-Latin hagiography, in addition to English history. Her dissertation, "The Cults of Anglo-Saxon Saints in Twelfth-Century Northumbria" is directed by John Van Engen. Lauren earned her M.M.S. from the University of Notre Dame, an M.St. from Oxford, and a B.A. from Gordon College.
