Anna Siebach Larsen

Anna Siebach Larsen, a recipient of a Mellon summer stipend, is a Ph.D. candidate in Medieval Studies. Her research interests include: Middle English, Anglo-Norman, and Old French literature, with an emphasis on thirteenth-century devotional and religious texts; allegory (visual and verbal); aesthetics; manuscript studies; medieval and modern literary theory; visual and poetic epistemologies; art history, particularly manuscript illuminations. Her dissertation, "Envisioning Devotion: Word, Image, and Epistemology in Thirteenth-Century England" is directed by Kathryn Kerby-Fulton. Anna earned her M.M.S. from the University of Notre Dame as well as both an M.A. and B.A. from Brigham Young University.
