Jillian Snyder, a recipient of a Mellon Graduate Fellowship, is a Ph.D. candidate in English. She received a B.A. from Trinity Western University and an M.A. from Simon Fraser University. Her research interests include early modern literature (with a focus on Reformation literature), early modern drama, Shakespeare, and late medieval literature. In particular, she studies the linguistic and affective representations of religious identity within early modern drama. She is the recipient of a Presidential Fellowship and Mellon Fellowship in Religion from the University of Notre Dame as well as a Canadian Graduate Scholarship for both her M.A. and Ph.D. studies.
